Thursday 11/9/23, will be our makeup and retake picture day. Any student not in school for our first picture day will have their picture taken. Anyone who would like to have their picture retaken should send a note to the teacher and send the original photos back to the school on picture day. If a student was absent and has not paid, they can do so online on the photographer's website, using the instructions in the attached file.

Halloween Fun at RES!










This week the RES Terriers worked on grade level content in Music Class as they incorporated playing instruments and reading note names in a Halloween Theme. Students also played xylophones along to the melody "Pumpkin Bones."

Today we held our RES 5th Grade Spelling Bee! Congratulations to our top spellers! We are so excited for our top 3 finalists (and our 4th place alternate) to represent RES at the upcoming County Wide Spelling Bee!

Ms. Valliant's Kindergarten Fun Friday followed the Reading Essential Question, “How do you get along with new friends?” with Spookley the Square Pumpkin fun!











Mrs. Pearson and Mrs. Eckrich's Kindergarten had a Fun Friday! After learning about friendship this week, they read Spookley the Square Pumpkin and discussed how he is a good friend. Then they made their very own Spookley! The number of teeth on their pumpkin was determined by the number of letters in the children's names. Then they compared pumpkin teeth!
