Today we were able to have one of our most cherished traditions at Preston Elementary School! Our staff and student Sing-a-Long is always one of the highlights of the year, and as you can tell, we had a very exciting time, enjoying all of our favorite holiday music together! Today all of our PES Students took part in the Holiday Airways Door Decorating event. Each grade decorated their doors and hallways with information from a specific country around the world about their holiday traditions! All of our students also took their passport with them and also got a small item at each station that had something to do with the traditions of that specific country. We would like to thank our amazing Equity committee for putting together this event, and for making sure our students learn about all of our traditions all over the world. The event connects families in need with resources and services, and will be held Wednesday, January 25 from 9:30 am until 1:00 pm at St. Luke's Methodist Church on 5th Avenue in Denton. Free services, information and assistance will be provided from a wide variety of community programs and partners. Free transportation provided to and from specific locations.
