Our 2nd grade did not get the best of weather on their field trip to Adkins Arboretum, but they still made the most of it. We are hopeful to reschedule soon to get the full experience!

The Preston Panther PTO is hosting the PES annual Springfest this Saturday, March 25th at the Preston Volunteer Fire Department! This is the school's biggest fundraiser featuring the famous silent auction that showcases the classroom-themed baskets along with other wonderful items from community members. There is something for everyone. GAMES, CRAFTS, FOOD, RAFFLES, and MORE! Come out and support PES!

We are excited to say that Miss Michelle Vinton is our staff member of the week! Miss Vinton is one of our 2nd-grade teachers. Miss Vinton is always so kind, patient, loving, and compassionate with her students, and seeing how they grow with her over the course of a year is amazing! Congratulations to Claire Sullivan for being chosen for our Book Reviewer of the Week! The book that she reviewed is called "Super Narwhal and Jelly Jolt" by Ben Clanton. She gave it 5 stars. She said she liked the book because they were following their dreams to be super heroes! Claire loves to read. You can find this book in our Quick Reads Section of the Media Center!
