Today, our school buddies teamed up to build leprechaun traps, and the creativity was off the charts! It was so special to see our older and younger students working together, sharing ideas, and having fun.

Session II: July 14 - July 31, 2025
Location: Easton High School (free transportation provided)
This program will engage students in hands-on activities that lead to career paths in cybersecurity, media arts, video design, health, computer science, and engineering.
Classes offered will include: Animation, App Development, Careers in Healthcare, Chess, Cyber Security, Drones, Media Arts, Presentation/Graphic Design, and Robotics.
The program is in partnership the People for Change Coalition, Mid-Shore Regional Council, Rural Maryland Council, and Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot County Public Schools.

This week, we shine our PES Educator Spotlight on Mr. Jason Faller! Mr. Faller is a 4th and 5th grade Math teacher and a 4th grade Science and Social Studies teacher here at Preston Elementary School. Mr. Faller is in his 18th year of teaching! Mr. Faller holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Sociology and a Master's Degree in Education. Mr. Faller is a member of our SIP PBIS/CDAT Team. Mr. Faller plans to be the best, most fun teacher for all of my students and to prepare them for middle school! We are so thankful that Mr. Faller has made the Panther Pride Den his home! #PESEducators #PESPantherPride


PES will celebrate Maryland Day on Tuesday, March 25. On this day, students can wear their Maryland colors or Maryland-themed gear!




Kindergarten had a deliciously fun time today with Ms. Reina and The Maryland Snap-Ed Program, Mid-Shore Region! Students got to explore and taste-test red, yellow, and green apples—learning about healthy choices while enjoying some crisp flavors! PES will raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day on Thursday, 3/20, where we will Rock our Socks! Students may wear their cool and fun socks on this day!
