Don't forget! Tomorrow kicks off our first day of Holiday Spirit Week! Let's have a great week!

Good Evening Families,
We're headed into the last week of 2023! School has been going well and we're all doing our best to battle all the sickness going around. We want to take this time to wish everyone well as you enjoy your families and friends during the holiday break. We hope to see you safe and healthy in 2024! #BeAPowerPlayer

CRMS truly appreciates our community partnerships! A big Thank You goes out to Mayor Kim Abner and Councilwoman Debra Sewell from the Town of Federalsburg for donating gift wrap to CRMS's Holiday Store, where students can pick out gifts for their families, at no cost to them, next Friday 12/22. We also thank Walking With Faith Thrift Store and Frugalicious, a Chic Consignment Boutique for their generous donations as well.

Congratulations goes to Gunnar Todd for being the 2024 Carson Scholar nominee for CRMS. Gunnar maintains a 4.0 GPA while also participating in Jazz Band, Concert Band and Marching Band while also participating in the CRMS Wrestling Club. Gunnar helps his community by assisting at musical events and parades. We are proud of this year’s nominee! #BeAPowerPlayer #CarolineFamily

Congratulations to last week's Power Players!

We were happy to have visitors from the MD State Dept. of Education who visited with Community School Coordinators and Principals at FES, GES, and CRMS. They appreciated the dedication to implementing the community school strategy which is transforming schools into community hubs of collaboration and support.

This year our physical education department was able to bring archery to Colonel Middle with the help of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). Our students worked on giving and receiving corrective feedback related to proper technique for archery and successfully propelling an object with accuracy. As of 2010, over 5 million students had participated in the NASP program across 46 states. Colonel Middle has now joined 80+ schools from across the state of Maryland in offering archery to its students.
