Energy and speed investigation in Science! Mrs. Mitchell’s 4th graders investigated how the height of a ramp affects the distance an object travels, as well as the sound produced when two objects collide.











Mrs. Pearson and Mrs. Eckrich’s Kindergartners had a hoppin' good time today!











Pre-K 4 classes visited Adkins Arboretum to learn about changes in nature, such as the unique life cycles of butterflies, frogs, and birds. While there, students explored woodlands, meadows, and wetlands.











5th grade and middle school parents:
Registration is now open for the 2024 Summer Career Enrichment Program (SCEP), a 4-week program for middle school students to engage in hands-on activities. Students can enroll in Animation, App Development, Careers in Healthcare, Chess, Cyber Security, Drones, Media Arts, Presentation/Video Design, and Robotics. Location is Colonel Richardson Middle School; bus transportation provided.
This program is in partnership with the People for Change Coalition, Mid-Shore Regional Council, Rural Maryland Council, and 3 County school systems: Dorchester, Talbot, and Caroline.

Mrs. Pearson's Kindergartners celebrated Leap Day by calculating their age for the next Leap Year! Then, they pretended they were frogs (you know, because they leap!) and caught enough flies to fill a ten frame!
